The Content Multiplier: Maximizing Longform Assets

In 2021, a prestigious award foundation faced a production gap: they couldn't film their traditional promotional campaign assets. Using only three 30-minute Zoom conversations between the award recipient and several A-list colleagues, I was tasked with turning these recordings into shorter, more manageable clips for social media.



The Creative Brief:


  • Goal: Create social-friendly versions of longform Zoom conversations to drive awareness and celebrate the recipient of a global award.

  • Requirements: Identify the best moments from the footage and prepare them for YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.

  • Target: Followers and fans of the award recipient and the foundation.


The Execution:


Important key moments of each video were identified to leverage as standalone clips. Using Adobe Creative Cloud, I edited the videos and added the necessary branding, including logos and graphics. I also used AI tools to generate the subtitles for each clip to ensure they were ready for social media.


The Impact:


I turned the three longform videos into 27 short-format cutdowns. This approach provided a steady stream of content for the campaign, which resulted in over 55K views across the YouTube channel and social media pages.
